Who is it for: Anyone familiar with Bayes reasoning and the concept of updating priors, who wants to create a model for data where clusters are not completely independent from each other 

Why we love it: This lecture assumes no prior knowledge on hierarchical models, and so explains foundational concepts such as partitioning variability. Equations are also grounded using an intuitive example about ecological data.
