Why we love it: This paper presents a case study of a 1-week system dynamics field course in Mali. The purpose of the field course was to equip participants with the systems skills needed to address local sustainability challenges. The authors detail their experience helping participants gain competency in a short amount of time, and discuss challenges to further skill development.
